Thanks for stopping by my page to take a peak into my world where I talk a little about “everything”. I love to cook, travel, make videos, shop, and learn something new every day even if sometimes I make a mess out of things. I am starting my life over in Germany and every day feel like a new adventure.

Thanks for stopping by my site earlier today. Are you originally from Germany? Or have you just moved there?

Your welcome, I am originally from Jamaica but was raised up in America. I have been living in Germany for one year and a month now and totally loving it!:)

    LOL! I love the video!!!

My cousin just moved to Germany with her husband a year ago. The plan was for it to be temporary, but it sounds like they like it enough to stay indefinitely.

    🙂 thank you.
I can understand your cousin change of mind. It is so magical here.

Ah from J eh? Then you surely know Miami. I live in North Miami which is primarily Haitian Jamaican and Bahamian as far as non Hispanic goes. Thank you for visiting my blog.

Hi Carl and your welcome, I plan to pop my nose in and out of your blog sometimes:) I been to Miami 3 times and I notice that too. The island and Hispanic people playing it smart and sticking to the warm weather while I am freezing my buns in the cold weather climate:(

Why did you choose Germany? What will be your work? I learned that much of the Black Forest has been sickened because of acid rain. Is this true? I like to carve in wood. They say Stuttgart is full of carving especially interior of buildings. Have you been there? Old.old Czech people I know say Bavaria is beautiful but Vienna most enchanting city in the world.I understand there is much social dissonance because of large Turkish population in Germany. Is this true? I have added an anti war aspect to my blog. I hope I do not lose readership because I am a humor/cartoon blog. I tried to study Latin but then they told me the Roman Empire has been gone a long time so I will stay with English.

Hi Carl, I hope on your side of the world you are receiving a lot of sunshine and less snow.
I will try to answers your question best as I can. Some I actually can’t because I am still learning. Everyday is like a mini adventure for me. Now that is said onward with your answers.

I choose Germany because my husband is German. He was working in America as an expat. When time was up I love him so much that I move back here with him. I honestly don’t know as yet what job I will have. I have to past on my upcoming exam this Friday to move on to the next level. I love to work with web designing or in a multimedia department. I love anything that I can use creativity on, but first I must master the language or come really close to it.

It is a shame I have not been to the Black Forest as yet or know much about it. So many people tell me I am but a hour or two away but my husband have no time to take me and when he do it is always raining and he said it is much prettier when it is dry.

I know nothing about the Turkish. My husband perhaps could answer that question better than I. He is into news and current events. All I heard about the Turkish, Poland, and Iran people is that they come to Germany and do not integrate. They sick to their own group. I see this but it is not everyone. The older one might not integrate but the younger one does.

I have seen your antiwar aspect on your blog. Sorry to say death is not funny. So many people have lost love one and have not gotten over it. It is a sensitive topic. I am not saying that you should stop posting on what you want but your topic is that “I made you laugh” today not that I made you sad.

Lol, English is always a good choice:) Latin is great if your into science. So many words are Latin base and help you remember terms.

Yes, a humor blog should stay a humor blog. Yesterday I made simple spaghetti dish. I topped the dish with marinated mushrooms, marinated artichoke quarters, heart of palm slices and black olive slices. The juices from the jar serve as the sauce substitute. It makes for a colorful plate and a different and unique way to eat spaghetti. Would do the same with small macaroni to serve as cold plate. Another tasty flash meal bachelor style.

I honestly like it and thanks! It show some of my personalities and have the viewer get a picture of things I might write about without even searching first. Plus I like the clean aseptic look of the sight and navigation. Easy to use and view.

So how is your german actually? Can I write you something in german as well? I do also have another blog in german.

    • October 17, 2011 9:29 pm

Hi Kim, my German is so so. More baby German. I can read and understand it decently. And yes you can write in German. What I don’t understand or know I tend to look up. Please do place your link here for German. I am curious to come take a peek:)

      • October 18, 2011 1:12 am

My german blog is here: http://kimspencil.wordpress.com/
But I write reviews there only – so there are only texty texts :S
But you just moved to Germany – so I guess it will take time to learn the language. German is a very hard language to learn 😦

    • October 18, 2011 8:48 am

Your telling me, lol, thanks Kim for the link I am going to check it out. Yes, the language is very hard but I seen too many people that been here for a short time mastering it. I think if they can do it in a short time and I have been here for a merely two years now I can too. I just need to study and talk more for it to get there. May I ask how long have you been living in Germany?

  11. March 30, 2012 7:10 am

My story sounds a lot like yours. I also moved to Germany to start over with my husband. So far it’s been an amazing experience for me. I’ve learned so much about myself in the process. However, I find that the German language is extremely difficult! I’ve been living here since June, and I can still only speak simple sentences. I’m looking forward to reading more about your adventures in Germany 🙂

    • March 30, 2012 10:10 pm

Hi Haleigh, I am about to swing by to read your stories:) I would like to say simple sentences is better than not speaking the language here at all. I have been living here for 2.5yreas and still speak baby sentences with my grammar allover the place. Sometimes I laugh at myself, sometimes I cry, and other times I amaze myself that people who are patient can understand me for us to communicate. Pretty much saying simple sentences are good. They are better than non at all. I am very proud of you!

    Hi Lora,
I tried to leave a comment on your most recent blog but I must be doing something wrong. I can’t. I wanted to thank you for sharing the wisdom of breathe, release, let go. I can let almost anything someone says or does (to me) ruin my day, my mood and my weekend. You’re right it is a choice and I hope to be inspired by your blog to just let it go and go on, go forward. Thanks dear.

  15. June 26, 2013 10:52 am

Hi Lori, you weren’t doing anything wrong. This year my comment button is turn off. I don’t have much time to blog so this year my blog is about thoughts, actions, and a lesson learn. I want the message to sit with a person and perhaps help them see things in a different way than how they would normally see it with out me commenting on it then the interpretation is lost.

I am so glad that my blog helped you and you are welcome. It is funny that 99% things can be going well than as soon as that 1% go bad, a person say something upsetting, or don’t live up to what they were suppose to do that 99% of positive things are no longer focus on. It is alway something, right. Don’t let it or anyone take control of your day or feelings. Big hugs my dear. breathe, release, let go, and move forward.

Just to let you know I do return visits but comments closed and nowhere to put “like”. Regards…
