INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED ARTISTS COME TOGETHER FOR INTIMATE OPENING

“Three Men & a Red Head” Debuts Pieces in Melbourne

This July 7th marks the opening release of the newest works by four talented international artists. The opening, duly name “Three Men & A Red Head”, features pieces from collaborative artists such as Kaliopy, Patrick Jennings Brady, Thomas Delohery and Otto Boron. The intimate opening will be held at the 69 Smith Street Gallery in Fitzroy, Melbourne from 5pm-8pm. Each artist will be present on location to meet and International Renowned Artists in Melbournegreet the public and discuss their works.

The showing provides a diverse range of pieces by four celebrated artists from around the world. Otto Boron, an Italian born/Melbourne based artist, is an experienced scenic painter. Thomas Delohery, an Irish artist, now based in Melbourne, is best known for his works themed around the Halocaust. Patrick J. Brady, a New York based artist, is the creator of “Carry Art”: miniature pieces interpreting iconic historic moments with hints of comedic critique. And Kaliopy, a Melbourne based contemporary artist whose works contain elements of femininity and sensuality.

Kaliopy the creative mind behind ‘Three Men & A Red Head’, as Both main curator and exhibitor, Kaliopy will have a combination of new and old paintings on exhibit. Her contribution will be a continuation of her earlier series “Sunkissed” with possibilities of entirely new themed pieces. Having an entertainment background, Artist Kaliopy wants to make her openings “more of an event rather than just a viewing.” Gathering most of her influences from personal experiences, Kaliopy explains “I mainly paint from mood, feeling and imagination… I bring full passion into my work.”

“Three Men & A Red Head” will be on exhibit at the 69 Smith Street Gallery from July 4-22nd.
