This month cooking theme was “Must Have”. It was like a Thanksgiving theme in a way of being grateful of what we have and making use of what we had. Because not so many people can just get up and go to buy ingredients or items every day to make a special meal/dinner. They make use of what is in the kitchen. The game was played by each members posting only three items they must have or normally use when cooking. After a week I gather what was posted and made a list of things everyone can “only” use to make an entry for the game. The game was a little challenging but 4 members came up with beautiful dishes from just using what was on the list below. Mines was the winning plate for this month “Fish Gnocchi in Mushroom Fish Sauce”.

2. Salt or Salt substitute
3. Pepper of your choice
4. Coconut Milk
5. Cilantro
6. Curry
7. Potatoes
8. Mushroom
9. cooking Whip Cream/Sahne
10. Butter
11. Flour
12. Apples
13. Cavender’s Greek seasoning
14. Cinnamon
15. Brown Sugar
17. Olive Oil
16. Rosemary
18. Garlic Powder
19. Tomato Puree
20. Chilli- powder, flake, or fresh
21. Onion
22. Cheese
23. Sour Cream
24. Corn Meal
25. Fish
26. Chicken
27.Turkey
28. Coffee
29. Milk
30. Bread
31. Eggs
32. Tomatoes
33. Ginger
34. Garlic Onion

My Fish Gnocchi in Mushroom Fish Sauce is basically made out of 2 medium Potatoes, 1 TBS creme cheese, 1/2 cup of Flour, 2 TBS Vegetable Boullion (salt substitute), 2 square frozen salmon, Olive Oil, 1 small can Mushroom, 200 ml Whip Cream, baby tomatoes was use for decoration and to get in some vegetable. I love making all form of gnocchi. Once you have the basic ingredients your gnocchi list can be endless. Cooking direction is on Facebook What Sha Cooking. Join us for the December theme game.     Okay you know I love you girl.. but I was thinking “fish gnocchi? What in the world is she doing over there?” And so you know I had to come check this out lol. I must say this dish really looks delicious. Wonderful job

      Thanks Kay, the foundation of gnocchi is cheese, potatoes, and flour…of course water to boil and just a little bit of salt for taste. One you have the basic the list is endless. The ingredient above is serving for 2 people.

      Your welcome and it is fun and easy. The first time I made the basic I was like wow this taste just like the restaurants and way better than store bought…honestly.
