Frida Gold is a German Pop band consist of Alina singer and guitarist Julian. Alina, born May 6, 1985, and bassist Andy were a couple, as they wrote together most of the songs for “Juwel”. The drummer Thomas is a friend. The singer Alina Suggeler and the guitarist Julian Cassel play at the school Holthausen in a band together. With the band Amnesia, they won the Jury Prize at Hattinger Newcomerfestival. Together with drummer Thomas Holtgreve they founded in 2005, the regionally successful rock band Lina Rockt (based on Suggelers first name) and competed in the junior competition Emergenza. In 2007, the band called by Lina Rockt in Frida and changed their sound from the guitar-based rock music, to “discoisierten indie pop.”

The first single from Frida Gold, Show me how you dance, accompanied the advertisement to the wireless range of the music channel MTV Mobile MTV. The singer Alina advertising plays in the film the lead role. The single was released on June 25, 2010 initially as a digital download. After the release of the single on CD, the song was placed in November 2010 in the German and Austrian charts.

Alina fashion is in fact the second passion after music. She has made fashion photographs and fashion blogs for some attention. She loves to be the flow of ideas in collaboration with great photographers. Alina made such a good figure that the German edition magazine Grazia published her as one of the “10 most beautiful women in the world” and gave her an award.

“Show me how you dance” made it a debut single from Frida Gold at No. 38 on the German charts (and in the top 15 in the German iTunes Charts). “What should we dream” as the second Top 30 single (Top15 I Tunes). More info can be found on wiki.
