The Largest Pig Museum in the World

May 6, 2011 said

Stuttgart’s Schweine Museum it seems is the largest pig museum in the world, with more than 37,000 sculptures, prints, paintings and documents from all around the globe covering all manner of pig facts.

In an exhibition space of over 800m² are 26 themed rooms dedicated to everything in the world of pigs. Rather appropriately, the Pig Museum is housed in the old abattoir in Stuttgart.

John and I love to do things on the weekend. We are not house people and will frankly drive each other nuts being confine. One weekend we went hiking and drove past the pig museum. It ofcourse interest us and we agree the very next weekend to go and check it out.

On entering the museum the wall is cover in Pig Latin. John had to laugh because he know Latin. I had to laugh because it make sense why it is written all over the wall. The hallway has pig statues and photos on the wall. Each room had a theme. It was ridiculously funny. It had a child room, a kitchen with pork, lol, a vault fill with piggy banks, a sex room that stolen my 2 Euro. No peep show for me, lol, and much more rooms.

I took a few photos to share with you. When your in Stuttgart you must take a complete look yourself and end it with a nice dinner:)

I adore the new blog look girl :). Wonderful job on the banner as well. And this place has definitely gone pig wild lol but it looks like a fun place to visit.

Thank you still playing around with the look a bit.
The pig place is a nice little laugh. It is two floors of many theme rooms. I took photos at almost every room but did not want to show too much on the web. I think if I have done so I might be taking money out of another person pocket unknowingly.
